Payment options
Deposit collection
Take a percentage or fixed deposit at the point of booking. Stops no-shows before they happen. Glamly takes nothing — you only pay Stripe's standard processing rate.
Full payments upfront
Require the full appointment amount at booking. Glamly charges a 1.5% payment processing fee — deducted from your payout, never added to the client's bill. Stripe fees still apply.
Gift vouchers
Sell gift vouchers directly from your booking page. Clients can redeem them at checkout with no friction. Sales carry a 1.5% processing fee; redemptions are free.
Card on file
Client saves their card at booking — no charge is taken. If they no-show or cancel late, you charge the agreed amount directly from your dashboard. You're protected without asking for upfront payment.
Tap to Pay on iPhone
Accept contactless payments in person — no card reader or extra hardware needed. Clients tap with their card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Ideal for mobile stylists, home visits, and walk-in clients.
Pay Now or Pay Later
Clients choose at booking whether to pay upfront or on the day. If they choose to pay now, your usual deposit or full payment rules apply. If they choose to pay later, the appointment is confirmed with nothing taken — they settle on arrival. You can also choose to pass the 1.5% processing fee on to the client.

Stripe fees shown are standard UK rates. Online transactions (Visa/Mastercard): 1.4% + 25p. Tap to Pay in-person transactions: 1.4% + 10p. Apple Pay and Google Pay use the same rates as standard cards. Glamly fees are deducted from your payout — clients never see them.
