New client requests go to Pending first. You review and confirm before anything locks in — giving you full control over who gets on your books.

Set a no-show limit. Once a client hits it, they're automatically blocked from booking again. You decide the threshold — one strike, two, whatever works for you.

Alerts for high-risk clients

When a client with a history of no-shows or late cancellations tries to book, you get an alert. You can still approve them — but you'll know before you do.

Require deposit or full payment per client

Flag specific clients to always require a deposit or full upfront payment, regardless of your default settings. Set it once, applied automatically every time they book.

Why these features matter together

Each tool in Smart Guard+ works on its own — but the real value is in the layers. A new client might come in under manual approval. If they no-show, that gets logged. If they hit your threshold, they get blocked before they can waste another slot. If they fall below the threshold but you still want to be cautious, you can flag them for deposits permanently.

How to turn it on

Settings

Smart Guard+ controls

Go to Settings → Booking Rules to find the Smart Guard+ section. From there you can:

  • Toggle deposit-on-first-booking and manual approval for new clients
  • Set your no-show threshold for automatic blocking
  • Configure high-risk client alert preferences

To flag an individual client for always requiring a deposit or full payment, open their profile in Clients and toggle the option from there.
