★ Major update

01 — Multi-service booking — clients can now book more than one service at once

Clients can now select multiple services in a single booking. Instead of having to make separate bookings for a cut and a colour, or a lash lift and a brow tint, they pick everything they want in one go — and it all lands as one appointment in your diary.

The booking flow handles the combined duration and pricing automatically. It's a smoother experience for the client and fewer back-and-forth messages for you.

How to enable it
  • Settings → My Booking Link → Enable multi service booking

02 — Payment links, now on for every business

Payment links let you collect money from clients online — without them needing to be in front of you. Send a secure link by email and your client pays from their phone or laptop, at any time, before or after their appointment.

We've now switched payment links on for every Glamly business — all 90+ existing accounts, and every new signup going forward. If you're already connected to Stripe through Glamly, there's nothing to switch on. It's just there.

How to use it
  • Connect or confirm your Stripe account under Settings → Payments
  • Send payment links from the appointment screen

03 — Social proof badges — “Popular” and “Often added” on your add-ons

Add-ons — those smaller services clients can bolt on to their main booking, like a scalp treatment, a brow tint, or a nail repair — are one of the most reliable ways to increase revenue per appointment. Across Glamly businesses the add-on step drives a 32.8% upsell rate. Nearly 1 in 3 clients adds something when prompted at the right moment in the booking flow. That's contributed to over £27,500 in extra revenue across the platform, averaging £21.96 extra per booking that upsells. Catching clients when they're already in the booking mindset is the sweet spot.

To push that further, your booking history is now working for you on the front end. Add-on services automatically earn social proof badges based on real booking behaviour — no manual tagging, no admin work on your part.

“Often added ✦” appears on an add-on when at least 20% of clients who booked the same main service also added it — and there are at least 5 bookings to base it on. It tells the next client: most people like you picked this.

“Popular” appears on an add-on with an overall booking rate of at least 15% across all services. Your best-sellers badge, earned automatically from real data. Badges are capped at one per type so they stay meaningful — the more bookings you take, the smarter your page gets.

How to enable it
  • Nothing to set up — badges appear automatically once you have 5+ relevant bookings
  • Add add-ons to your services in Settings → Services to get them into the booking flow

04 — Earnings — your Stripe finances, inside Glamly

You can now see exactly where your money is without leaving the app. The new Earnings section shows your available and pending Stripe balance, your next scheduled payout, recent payout history with status badges, and a full paginated list of transactions — 10 at a time, fully searchable.

There's also a built-in guide and FAQ so you understand how Stripe payouts work, and a direct link to your Stripe dashboard when you need to dig deeper.

How to access it
  • Settings → Earnings (visible once your Stripe account is connected)

05 — Beforecare — prep instructions sent right in the confirmation

You already use aftercare instructions to tell clients how to look after their results. Now you can do the same for what they should do before they arrive — arrive with clean hair, avoid fake tan for 48 hours, skip moisturiser before a spray tan. Whatever your service needs clients to know in advance.

Beforecare entries are automatically embedded in the booking confirmation email the moment a client books — no extra messages, no chasing. They also appear on the client's manage-booking page and in their My Bookings portal under the Care tab, so the guidance is always one tap away right before their appointment.

Arrive with clean hair. No product. No heat styling. Your client reads that in the confirmation, not five minutes before they turn up.
How to enable it
  • Settings → Aftercare → Add entry
  • Toggle the type to Beforecare and write your instructions
  • Link it to the relevant service — it sends automatically with every booking from then on

06 — Business Insights, redesigned — with diary utilisation and monthly forecast

The Insights section has been rebuilt from the ground up. Business Insights now has three focused tabs — Overview, Trends, and Clients — so your most important numbers are no longer buried on one long page. Marketing Insights follows the same structure with Campaigns, Automations, and Audience tabs.

New metrics

Numbers that actually tell you something

  • Diary utilisation rate — what percentage of your available working hours are booked. Know at a glance whether you're running full or have room to grow.
  • Revenue per open hour — how much you earn per hour you're available. The best single number to track as you optimise your pricing and schedule.
  • Monthly forecast — your current month's confirmed revenue shown against your progress, updated live as new bookings come in.
  • Client recency segments — your clients automatically grouped into Active, At Risk, and Lapsed, so you always know who needs a nudge.
How to access it
  • Dashboard → Business Insights — the new tabs are already there

07 — Your add-ons step, redesigned to actually convert

The extras and add-ons step on your public booking page has been redesigned. The header is now “DON'T FORGET THESE ✨” with the subtext “Little things you might need or love.” — a tone that turns browsers into buyers. The CTA button is also smarter, adjusting its label depending on what step comes next: choose a date, pick add-ons, or configure a group booking.

All of this carries through to group bookings too — every participant sees the same polished step.

How to access it
  • Already live on your public booking page — no action needed
  • Add extras and add-ons in Settings → Services to see them in action

08 — Announcement banners — put any message at the top of your booking page

You can now pin a banner to the top of your booking page. Perfect for announcing a price increase, a holiday closure, a new service launch, a limited promotion, or anything you want every visitor to see the moment they land.

Choose from five colour themes: Promo (purple), Info (blue), Alert (amber), Festive (red), and Dark. Pick Static for a clean announcement, or Scrolling ticker for anything that needs to feel urgent. Set a start and end date and the banner shows and hides itself automatically — so you can set it up weeks in advance and forget about it. Add an optional CTA link to point clients anywhere specific.

How to enable it
  • Settings → My Booking Link → Announcement Banner
  • Write your message, choose a theme, style, and optional date range
  • Hit “Put banner live” — it appears on your page immediately

09 — My Bookings hub — refreshed with notifications and a new Care tab

The My Bookings portal — where your clients manage everything between appointments — has had a major visual and functional refresh.

New look. The header now shows your salon's hero image (the same one from your booking page) behind a frosted-glass card with your logo and branding. The notification bell sits in a matching pill in the top corner. It feels like yours.

Notifications panel. Clients can now see all their appointment notifications in one place — no more digging through email to find what you sent.

Care tab. A new Care tab surfaces all the beforecare and aftercare instructions relevant to their upcoming and past appointments. Your prep and aftercare guidance is always one tap away. Entries paginate at 5 at a time so it's never overwhelming.

Pagination. Upcoming and past appointments now paginate with previous/next navigation — the portal stays fast and readable however many bookings a client has built up over time.

How to access it
  • Already live — clients access it at your booking link + /my-bookings
  • Add beforecare and aftercare in Settings → Aftercare to populate the Care tab

10 — Inspiration board — clients save looks to show you at their appointment

This is the one clients will love. There's now an Inspiration tab in the My Bookings portal — tap the camera icon and it opens a personal inspiration board where clients can save photos of looks they love and add notes for you.

When they arrive at their appointment, they open the board on their phone and hand it over. No more “I saw it on Instagram but I can't find it now” — the look is right there with their notes.

What clients can do

A full inspiration board, right in your portal

  • Upload any photo — from their camera roll or directly with their camera.
  • Add and edit notes per photo — “similar colour but shorter”, “love the fringe, not the length”.
  • Pinch to zoom in a full-screen lightbox so you can inspect every detail.
  • Legacy photos automatically included — if a client has previously uploaded inspiration photos through your booking page, they already appear in the board in a “From your bookings” section. Notes can be added to those too.
No more screenshots that get lost in a camera roll. Their board is always there, ready to hand over.
How to access it
  • Clients find it in My Bookings — tap the camera icon tab
  • Nothing to configure — it's ready for every client with portal access

11 — Tap to Pay on iPhone — accept payments without a card reader

You can now take contactless card payments directly on your iPhone — no card reader, no dongle, no extra hardware. A client taps their card, phone, or watch to your iPhone and the payment is done. That's it.

It works anywhere you do. At the salon, on location, at a pop-up. As long as you have your iPhone with you, you can take payment. Requires iPhone XS or later running iOS 16 or above.

How to enable it
  • Settings → Payments → Tap to Pay on iPhone
  • Follow the one-time setup to link it to your Stripe account

12 — Loyalty — points and stamp cards for your regulars

Loyalty is now built in to Glamly. Your clients can earn rewards every time they book with you — and it runs entirely in the background without you lifting a finger.

Two ways to run it

Points or stamps — your choice

  • Points scheme — clients earn points for every pound they spend. Set the earn rate, set the reward, and let it build. Works great for higher-spend services.
  • Stamp card — the digital version of those paper cards nobody can ever find. Clients collect a stamp per visit and unlock a reward when they hit your target number.

Everything lives in Glamly. Clients can see their balance from their booking confirmation, and you can check or edit it from their profile in the dashboard. No spreadsheets, no forgotten cards, no awkward conversations about whether that appointment counts.

Three stamps away from a free treatment? That's a client already thinking about their next booking.

Loyalty is part of Glamly Growth — our marketing add-on at £10/month. Alongside loyalty, Glamly Growth also includes SMS campaigns, rebooking reminders, win-back messages, promo codes, and abandoned booking recovery.

How to enable it
  • Dashboard → Marketing → Loyalty
  • Choose a points scheme or stamp card, set your reward, and switch it on
  • Part of Glamly Growth — start with a 7-day free trial, no card needed
